Facts are taken from publishers, writers’ own sites and institutional sources, and anything that could not be confirmed is left out rather than guessed.

Nonetheless the site is revised a few times a year, not continuously, and some of it will be out of date at any given moment. Check anything you intend to rely on.

Removal and correction

If you are a writer, publisher, estate or institution and something here is wrong, out of date, or something you would rather was not published, it will be corrected or removed — promptly, and without your needing to give a reason.
