The aim

This site is text and links, and is built to work with a screen reader, with the keyboard alone, at any zoom level, with images off, and on a slow connection.

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the target. It is a target rather than a tested claim: the site has not yet been audited against the standard, and the known gaps are listed below.

What helps

• No JavaScript runs. The only <script> on any page is inert JSON-LD metadata for search engines; nothing executes and nothing is required to read the site
• No cookies, banners, pop-ups or autoplaying media to dismiss
• Semantic headings in order, so a screen reader’s outline matches the page
• Descriptive link text — links say where they go
• Text, not images of text. The only image is the decorative mark in the header, which is hidden from screen readers
• System fonts, so nothing depends on a download
• Light and dark follow your system setting

Known limitations

• Irish-language text appears alongside English. Screen readers may mispronounce it unless the markup declares the language change, which is not yet done consistently
• Long pages have no in-page table of contents
• The site has not been formally audited against WCAG, and no audit is planned. The target above is a statement of intent, not a tested claim
